Ok so

Ok, so apparently I can't sit around all day and do nothing. I got a little bored and felt like a 2 yr old when I started whinning, "Johhhhn I'm bored". We set up the bean bag game and I'd like to say I was the winner but, no, I lost 5 out of 5 games. Done with that game.....

This is all

I took the day off of work and this is absoulutley all I got done today. I guess I should feel guilty, but I don't. I had lot's of "work" I could have gotten done but life is short and summer is even shorter. There will be lot's of time to get things done inside when the snow began's to blow so today I will just enjoy doing absoulutley nothing....

Girlfriend day

It seems like forever sence the girl's have gotten together and I missed them all. We had so much to catch up on, new Grandbabies, job interviews, bike rides, vacations, window's of time and on and on. There was so much I just hope I didn't miss anything. This picture is of Sharon's gate leading into her pool. Thankyou for letting us come and float and talk and eat more snacks and let our friendships blossom even more.
As always we must eat when we get together. I missed those of you who couldn't come today....

Kim's yummy sandwich...the rest of us had salads and lot's of brown roll's with honey butter and cinnamon....

Nope Yes But

NOPE, there was no sunshine to be seen and YES, the clouds spit a rain drop or two and NOPE,we had none of the comforts of a Holiday Inn BUT we had Brenda who brought us ALL the comforts from home and then some and YES, my bed felt mighty good last night BUT, the laughter and the time we shared with our friends this past weekend in Petoskey were priceless.....Oh and YES you need to turn off the music on my playlist to listen to the Smilebox....

Were off again

Were off again this time to the Betsy River Trail. We started in Frankfurt and our first stop along the trail was the little town of Beulah nestled right on Crystal Lake. It was a beautiful ride along Crystal lake and I only wish we would have stopped in Beulah and not contiued on to Thompsonville. It was the ride to nowhere, uphill for 12 miles. Sometimes you don't mind a little harder of a ride if there is something pretty to look at and when you get to your destination you find a cute little town with an ice cream shop to relax at. We found none of that, in fact Mark hit it on the nail when he said, this town is unexceptable and spooky like a ghost town. We got out of Dodge as fast as our little legs would pedal and rode another miserable 12 miles back to Beulah. So if your ever inclined to ride the Betsy River Trail...Stop and turn around in Beulah and you won't be disappointed...that part is an awesome ride.
When your in Beulah make sure to eat at the Hungry Tummy...they have the best Pizza!!! Not even kidding about that one...

The view along Crystal lake was breath taking.....

5th annual Pentwater Parade

We started the 4th of July Parade 5 yrs ago with about 15 people and now we are up to about 40...we really stepped it up this year with a juggler and music and we even threw candy...preperation has already begun for next years parade....game on people.
Our personal floats...

Bethany won the prize with her US Airforce plane float...we had fly by's and she even tipped her wings a few times to the crowd...loved it...I know it's hard to belive but it only took her less then 30 minutes to make her float...impressive..

Getting started the morning of the 4th...it's a mad frenzy getting our parade in order things are just a flying and at 10:15 your done and the parade starts to assemble...we have 365 day's to get ready but for some reason we wait until the morning of the 365th to put it all together...it just works that way...

Mark was our Little Drummer boy...you did a fine job...
