Baseball
Baseball-Hot Dogs-Thunder Storms and Rain Delays...that was our Fri night at the Tiger's baseball game...but we didn't care...no not us...like good little girlscouts we were prepared. We had our umbrella's and poncho's and Brenda's Mary Poppins bag...It's just amazing what Brenda can put in her purse...it's like magic when she opens it up and starts pulling everything out...you'll never go hungry...suffer from a headache...bleed to death...or have to deal with a hang nail...whatever the need...whatever the situation Brenda's got it covered....

Thanks to Bobbie
So I woke up today to rain and the weather report was looking rather bleak...I had been so looking forward to going on our bike trip today...the phone began to ring and the message was the same....I think we should cancel the ride today....I hadn't heard from Bobbie yet so I picked up my cell phone and sadly punched her digits into my phone...I expected to hear from her...so the ride is off today but "no" not Bobbie she picked up the phone....Dave and I are going no matter what...REALLY...I said... then I'm going to...and much to my surprise and delight others decided to join in on the adventure. Not a drop of rain was felt, except the one that Kim felt on her nose, the sun came out...it was a perfect day....thanks to Bobbie we had and awesome day on the Bay......

smile on my face
Someday I'll stay home and clean the house but right now the bike trails just keep calling our names. We decided to try out the Lansing River Trail before we took the whole group...especailly after the Polly Ann Ride...I think you all will like the ride... I've said it once and I will say it again...There's nothing like the wind in your hair and a bike between your leg's to put a smile on your face...and I was defiantly smiling today.
River trail
Found our way
Finally the end of the trail...we were just riding along seemed like we were going in cirlces...we were...ended up on Grand River St...which I don't think was part of the trail...but we did find a nice place to eat...bonus...I have no idea how we got where we got but it's a good thing Mark had a GPS on his phone...which worked much better then Don's Becker I might add...finally we made it back to the trail...laughing all the way....
