The hope we get lucky flowers

How special...just what ever girl wants stuck in a drinking glass of water for a vase...I hope we get "lucky" flowers...really guy's...Diamonds work much better!

Disney Condo

Don did an awesome job booking our reservations for our Orlando trip. When we walked in to the lobby Karen and I squealed with delight...I must say we were a little ridiculously over the top with our reation to the place.

The flowers at Disney were breath taking. They were getting ready for a flower show and convention so you can just imagine the beauty of it all...and then we came home to this wonderful brown landscape...

The Becker

The Becker...it just hung there on our windshield...belching out directions...telling us left when we should be going right...The Becker was clueless...no matter how many times you told it where you wanted to go it just didn't get it...The Becker, well it was pretty much useless...but Don loves his Becker...it's a guy thing I guess...he just couldn't excpet the fact that his Becker was broken...it's pretty sad when you have to stop and ask for directions when you've got a Becker hanging from your windshield...who heard of a Becker anyway's...I nearly laughed my socks off when he pulled that thing out of his suitcase and stuck it to the windshield...his face so proud...next time we go on vacation leave your Becker at home cause John's bringing his "Tom Tom"!

Sunshine Ipod and shoes

Sunshine, warm weather, Ipod and walking shoes...that's all I needed today...I turned my playlist on of praise and worship music and with tears streaming down my face and at times with my hands in the air, (my neighbors really must think I have lost it), I was reminded once again...He Never Let's Go...My Redeemer Lives...He is the Air I Breathe...When I call on Jesus All Things are Possible...and even though the sun was shinning and there was hardly a cloud in the sky...The Healing Rain Was Falling Down!

It's the little things

They say it's the little things in life that are the best and I believe it...isn't it cute my little cell phone holder...it was free! I know you all are saying where can I get one just like it...well, it's a one of a kind... it came today in the box of toy's we order, from Smile Makers, for the little kiddies in our office...my face just lit up when I saw it and I was SO shocked no one else wanted it...can you believe it, I'm still shaking my head over that one...I just love it and I don't know why a little piece of rubber, folded in half ,with a hole in the top for my cell phone could make me so happy but it did...I guess they are "SMILE MAKERS".

YEAH

I came home from work today pulled up in the driveway, opened the garage door, and there they were...who would have ever thought we would be riding bikes in Feb.

Spring Fever

Could you believe the weather today....Love it...John and I took a few spins around the block on our bikes...OHHHH it felt so good...This is just what I needed to get me through till spring!!!!

Stitches

OOOH...Owwww CH....shivers running up and down my spine and out my fingers and toes when I saw Little Matthew's stitches last Sunday. I'm a little embarrassed to say, when my children were hurt and there was more then a teaspoon of blood, I was the Mom who was jumping up and down on her tippy toes with my arms flapping up and down... yelling...do something... do something...I cried more then my kids did after there shot's...when they threw up I threw up... not pretty I know...so...after my apparent OVER reaction to Matthews stitches, should I ever have grandbabies, I 'm a little concerned if one of them should ever get hurt... for there sakes I hope Grandpa is close at had... because I'll just be jumping up and down on my tippy toes flapping my arms like a chicken yelling...do something...do something!!!!

When the boss is away

When the boss is away the Employee's will play, and that is exactley what Gena and I did. Nothing does a body better then spending 5 day's laying on a beach in Sunny Florida...not to mention eating oustside on 5th Ave. in dowtown Naples...if only I could have stayed a month or two longer!!!!

Upwards

On Saturday's instead of sitting on the couch drinking coffee and watching Goodmorning America you will now find me running the Scoreboard for the Upwards Basketball program at church...yes, you heard me right I am running the scoreboard!!! I thought it would be nice for John to volunteer his time for such a great program so I signed him up and the deal was I had to help...I never dreamed he would really make me go...so at 7am last Sat I got up and got ready and whined the whole way there...hard to believe I know...the funny thing is...I had such a great time watching the kids play...who knew that running a scoreboard from 8:30 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon could be so much fun!!!
