North Central

Off we went on Sunday, in the Rain, heading up to Ride the North Central Trail. Why we continued on I don't know because it was pouring rain the whole way up there. After several calls back and forth between the cars we said, let's just go for it and if nothing else we will just find a cute little place and have breakfast, because you all know I ride to eat and I eat even if I can't ride. Well we found that cute little place in Indian River, had our breakfast, the rain stopped, so off we went. I'm so glad we continued on. It was a great ride along Mullett Lake through the woods and open fields right into Cheboygan. If you would have told me we would be riding 41 miles this day I would have told you that you were crazy. What an adventure we had along the way.

Surprise visit from my girls

Joanna was home for the first time sence Christmas. It was so good to have her and my Grandpuppy home for a visit even if it was just a short time. God has been so very good to her. It was so good to see her looking so healthy and happy. I am just praising God for keeping his hand on her life. We are so proud of you Joanna!!!!!!

Getting started

I never tire of riding the Paint Creek Trail and I love sharing the ride with my friends. Thanks for going and sharing your day with us. Sorry Steve and Craig, you seem to be missing in the picture. Doesn't Kathy look especially nice? Is that a green shirt I see under you sweater? What a fun day!!!!!

Enjoying the moment

The group just left us in their dust so Bobbie and I decieded to take a moment and just enjoy the beauty of the trail. That's just like life. We get going so fast and furious trying to make it to the end and we don't take the time to enjoy it along the way. Besides my butt butt was a little sore!
Enjoying our hot dogs, well at least some of us were eating hot dogs, at our favorite hot dog place in Rochester. Just can't believe some would choose to eat "Bean Soup" and a "Greek Salad" at a hot dog joint. I won't mention any names Kathy and Steve....

What would biking be with out ice cream???? Bobbie seems to be enjoying her's.

It's not a Choice

50.1 miles...it was not a choice but a challenge. We went to ride and ride is what we did. 20 miles on the Betsie River and 50.1 on the T.A.R.T/Leelanau trail. Would I do it again...get your bikes and let's get going!

Someone needs to learn how to use her Camera

I really need to learn how to use this camera. I take video's instead of pictures and pictures instead of video's. Sorry girlfriends for all the retakes!!!! I just had to post it, cause I think we all look so cute sitting in the shade like little old ladies. Don't tell the other's I said that.

20 Miles

20 miles of fun, sun, food, and good memories. It was a tad bit chilly when we started but it didn't take long for the sun to warm us up. I've always said, I could be in the worst mood ever but put me on my bike and take me to a trail and my spirits will begin to soar, John even looks better out on the trails! I know, hard to believe but it's true. It's the best therapy ever! So, if you need a pick me up and you Hubby is staring to get on your last nerve get on your bikes and join us on our next ride. You will be amazed!!!!
